WCT Manitoba's "The Women We Love" Workshop

WCT Manitoba's "The Women We Love" workshop on October 17, 2019 at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights was invigorating and engaging with 100 women in attendance.

The guest speaker was the inspiring Nancy Trites Botkin, the founder of Think8women and an Emmy-award-winning director, producer, speaker and author.

Nancy led an interactive and reflective workshop that focused on defining women's roles in the world, both at work and in their personal lives.

Those in attendance talked and shared about the strong and supportive women in their lives — the ones who inspire them and challenge them to grow both professionally and personally. Many gave Nancy and WCT MB very positive feedback and thoroughly enjoyed the morning! Connections were made and friendships were forged.

Thank you to all who came out, and to Nancy herself for leading the workshop.

If you are interested in being a part of organizing events like this, WCT MB is looking for volunteers! Please contact info [at] wct-fct.com for more information.

Land Acknowledgement

Women in Communications and Technology acknowledges that our offices and work, located in Ottawa, are on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation whose presence here reaches back to time immemorial.

We also recognize that the work of our Regional Chapters is carried out on traditional territory of First Nation, Inuit and Métis peoples from coast to coast. We are thankful that we are able to work and collaborate on these lands.
